Our Clinicians

At Salvado, your care doesn’t sit in silos. Our psychologists, psychiatrists, and mental health GPs work closely together—each bringing different tools to support you through whatever you’re facing.

Psychiatrists
Medical doctors who can prescribe medication and take a medical approach to mental health. Referral from your GP required.

Psychologists
Focus on therapy and behavioural change using evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and more. Self-referrals welcome, or GP referrals enable Medicare rebates through Better Access.

MHGPs (Mental Health)
General practitioners with specialised mental health training who support with focused services like medication reviews and prescription management. No referral needed.

Conditions we support

Everyone’s story is different, but many of the challenges people bring to us are shared.

You might be here because you're not sleeping, can't focus at work, feel disconnected from the people you love, or just know that something feels off.

We support people working through both everyday  challenges and more complex conditions.

Things we can help you with:

  • Anxiety & Depression
  • Trauma & PTSD
  • ADHD
  • Relationship issues
  • Grief & Loss
  • Stress & Burnout
  • Anger Management
  • Addictions
  • Chronic Pain & Fatigue

Our ADHD process is focussed on flexibility to support your needs.

Salvado offers a treatment pathway that includes assessment and intervention options for the treatment of general therapy and ADHD for Adults.

Our core difference at Salvado is that our psychologists, psychiatrists and mental health GPs work together to provide support and guide you through a pathway forward.

Whether you choose medical or non-medical treatment options, you’ll be engaged throughout the entire process, and we’ll provide you with the tools and information to make informed choices along the way.

Having your care connected between mental health professionals also means that you don’t need to repeat your story or “shop around” for the right support. We can assess, diagnose and provide ongoing treatment options.

Furthermore, clinical treatment at Oqea Cares is powered by the use of our innovative platform, Oqea. You can use this free app to connect with your mental health practitioners and support network, access a range of self-help tools or have Telehealth sessions from your phone.

Working with us means convenient, person-centred, on-demand access to a continuum of care.

Important: Salvado is not a crisis service.
If you're experiencing active suicidal thoughts or feeling unsafe, please call 000 immediately or contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 for 24/7 support.

We also offer specialised care using:
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Schema Therapy
